This module has helped me think about student-centered assessment in the following ways….
It has made me think of the creative ways to assess my students work and cut down on correcting papers. I have never thought about having my students create the rubric with me. That to me is a bit scary... I am going to try it because I do like living on the edge.

You will be surprised - many time when kids create their own rubrics they are much tougher on themselves than we would ever be as teachers. They hold very high expectations for themselves. It is very refreshing to see and it inspires us to want to be better too!
